My name is Neema Sempebwa and I’m a certified Personal Trainer in Kensington specializing in Pre and Post Natal fitness. I’m also a mum of two.

How can we help?

I know only too well from first-hand experience just how hard it can be to make time for ourselves, look after a child, and carry out all of our other responsibilities. Sometimes it definitely feels as if there just aren't enough hours in the day to do everything you might have set out to achieve that day.

There exists much confusion and misinformation about exercising during and after pregnancy. Active Mums is a service here to help answer any questions you may have in this area and to support you to feel healthy during and after your pregnancy.

We offer tailor-made fitness programs to each mum or mum-to-be (wherever you are on your journey). I will be here to support and guide you through each part of your fitness journey. If you are currently pregnant and unsure of what exercises you can do and which of those are safe to do.

Active Mums will work with you throughout your pregnancy to help you get stronger, fitter, and ready for the big day. If on the other hand you are already a mum and are finding it hard to find time to fit in exercise amongst all other things motherhood will demand from you, Active Mums can help you with fun and imaginative ideas of how to exercise at home within the limited time you may have.

I am very passionate about pregnancy and post natal fitness. I have the first-hand experience in the multiple benefits that staying active throughout both periods can have on a woman's body and mind. I know through my own experience that exercising throughout my pregnancy helped me with short labour and to have a positive postnatal recovery.

It can be a very sensitive and difficult time for women, however, there are many things through exercise that we can do to ensure we allow our bodies to adapt to each stage in a positive way and remain full of energy. 

Each woman’s journey will be different and Active Mums treats each individual as such with tailor-made plans and support specific to your personal journey.
